For the second time in three years, MBBP client Whitehead Institute, a nonprofit, independent research and educational institution, has been named the best place in the country for postdoctoral researchers to work.
The honor, presented by The Scientist magazine, is based upon responses to this year’s web-based survey of nearly 3,000 participants representing 93 research institutions. No stranger to the list, Whitehead first cracked The Scientist’s annual Top 15 in 2008, coming in at 14 that year. According to the magazine’s editors, Whitehead Institute received high marks in categories such as facilities, infrastructure, and funding opportunities.
