EnerTrac Raises $4.2M in VC Funds

MBBP client EnerTrac Inc., a startup that makes devices used for remote monitoring of such items as thermostats, fuel tanks and heating and ventilation systems, recently announced it has completed a $4.2 million Series A round of financing. Investors include Milestone Venture Partners and City Light Capital, both of New York City; Harbor Light Capital Partners of Keene, N.H. and several of the company’s customers. EnerTrac’s CEO, Steve Owens had this to say of the financing:

Most of our customers are accelerating their installations, and we are deploying this capital to stay ahead of customer demand. We have major growth opportunities in the fuel delivery market and in several other very large markets. We are already deploying in several of these verticles.
