On Tuesday, November 19 the Boston Patent Law Association (BPLA) Licensing and Litigation Committees are hosting a Symposium on Patent Licensing and Damages. The day-long conference offers a morning and afternoon session, of which guests are welcome to attend each one or all.
The first session of the day, on A.I. from A to Z: Perspectives on Artificial Intelligence Protection and Licensing, features Morse Attorney John Hession as a panelist. The speakers will weigh in on the protection, licensing, and data-valuing of A.I. and Machine Learning innovations, while John will be sharing his perspective as viewed through the lens of venture financings and M&A transactions.
The second session on Patent Damages features an experienced panel who will discuss recent developments in the calculation of damages in patent cases, including reasonable royalties and lost profits.
