MBBP’s Employment Law Group just released an Employment Law Alert regarding the recent wage equality act signed in Massachusetts. On August 1st, 2016, Governor Charlie Baker signed, “An Act to Establish Pay Equity (the Act)” which requires men and women to receive equal pay for comparable work and forbids employers from asking prospective employees about salary history.
