On October 1, MBBP client Implant Sciences Corporation announced that the Service Technique de l’Aviation Civile (STAC) of France has certified QS-B220 desktop explosives trace detector (ETD). The QS-B220 is now available for purchase and deployment to screen passengers, cargo, cabins, and baggage for explosives in airports throughout France. Implant Sciences CEO, Glenn Bolduc, had this to say of the news:
