MBBP is pleased to announce that Attorney Jonathan Gworek, has been elected chair of the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge by its board of directors. He will serve a two-year term during which he will be responsible for running meetings, shaping the agenda and strategic vision of the forum, and driving initiatives.
Jon regularly represents entrepreneurs, technology start-ups and emerging companies, and he has been an active member of MITEF for several years. Most recently he served as vice chair of the Forum, as a judge in the annual MIT $100K Entrepreneurship Competition, and as a member of the Forum’s executive committee.
The Cambridge branch is one of 27 worldwide chapters of the MIT Enterprise Forum, Inc. and connects technology entrepreneurs and the communities in which they reside, producing more than 70 seminars, panel discussions, case studies and networking events yearly. Jon was also recently named chair of the Venture Capital Transaction Documents and Issues Sub-Committee of the Private Equity and Venture Capital Committee of the Business Section of the Amercian Bar Association.
