MBBP client iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC recently announced plans to create a state-of-the-art digital verson of the McLaren MP4-12C GTC race car that will be available to iRacing members in 2012. Tony Gardner, President of iRacing.com had this to say of the collaboration:

It’s great to be working with McLaren on another exciting project that utilizes the outstanding technical know-how of our two organizations. We’re excited that we’ll be making our version of the McLaren MP4-12C GT3 available to the more than 30,000 iRacers next year.

iRacing.com Partners with GRAND-AM to Create Online Sports Car Series 11/08/2010

NASCAR GRAND-AM and iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations have announced a partnership to create the GRAND-AM iRacing.com Online Sports Car Series that debuted November 2nd. The series will allow sports car racing fans and racing game enthusiasts to compete with each other in “online, multi-class races sanctioned by GRAND-AM.” GRAND-AM Road Racing, which operates and sanctions the Rolex Sports Car Series and the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge, is the foremost sanctioning body of sports car racing in North America.

Williams FW31 to be Available Virtually to Race For 2010 01/19/2010

iRacing,com Motorspot SimulationsiRacing has announced the digital addition of the Williams FW31 Grand Prix Car to their inventory in 2010. iRacing has already taken steps towards building a virtual version of the 2009 AT&T Williams FW31 as it will be available for all members of the iRacing simulation service. Tom Potter, Williams F1’s Commercial Alliances Manager, is excited about this partnership. He stated:

More people travel into space than are afforded the opportunity to drive a current Formula One car.
