On May 1st, MBBP client Crocodoc announced it has released its new cloud-based HTML5 document embedding service. This HTML5 technology is designed for the scale and demand of consumer and business web and mobile applications, as it provides unprecedented fast, crystal-clear rendering and advanced security. On February 17th, MBBP client crocodoc  announced the launch of the worlds first embeddable HTML5 document viewing and collaboration tool.  This new version will allow users to be able to integrate PDF, Word, and PowerPoint documents into any website or document sharing system without requiring end users to run Flash, Acrobat, Word, or other programs or plug-ins. Also, because  Crocodoc‘s document viewer is built entirely in HTML5, it is viewable on modern browsers as well as mobile devices like the iPhone as well. Crocodoc - HTML5 Document EmbeddingOn July 14th, crocodoc (offspring of MBBP client WebNotes) was featured in an article on Xconomy.com- a business, life sciences and technology news site. The article discusses the new version of crocodoc, which was also debuted on July 14th, which allows users to collaborate on a larger list of document types such as PDF’s, Word documents, JPEG and PNG images, PowerPoints, and Photoshop files. Through this article crocodoc founder, Ryan Damico, also announced they have closed their first major round of post-Y-Combinator angel investor funding by prominent Silicon Valley investors.
