Sure iRacing has been making headlines in simracing and auto racing circles. But the New York Times recent feature on Bedford, MA-based iRacing brings simulated racing to a new audience. The article, For Virtual Racers, a League of Their Own, concentrates on the realistic and precision 3d reproduction of the racetrack view.
